Piedmont Park, Atlanta, GA

I love spring! Spring time is a time of new-growth and rebirths. I met James and Meagan in Piedmont Park, and Spring was in the air. We chatted for about 20 minutes before we got started with their session. Meagan tried to convince me that James was very nervous about the session…look at that face. I don’t believe it. 😉

I say it all the time, but a photo session is not about me, or my camera. It is about my clients, and the special relationships that they have. It is simply my job to document those relationships in a genuine way. That being said, I just couldn’t stop taking pictures of Meagan and James. I clicked until there was absolutely no light left.

Meagan’s and Jame’s love story is a lot like my own. A beautiful romance, the perfect match, and a Happily Ever After. I can’t WAIT until their September wedding day. They are sooooo precious – and GORGEOUS!

I love that I caught this silly little moment. They really are the giggliest, sweetest pair. We were in stitches all evening.

And now for my favorite picture from the evening….drumroll….

Hello gallery wrap that is now in my office!

Many thanks to the two of you for trusting me to tell your story with my pictures.

Much love – K

When it comes time for my clients to order prints, I always suggest ordering a canvas gallery wrap of their favorite image. I heart gallery wraps.

To create the wrap, your image is printed onto canvas, and then stretched over a wooden frame. The “gallery” part means that there are no staples or nails visible. The canvas is attached to the back of the wooden frame, so it isn’t visible. The gallery wrap comes out of the box ready to hang.

Gallery wraps are available in all sizes. They really give your pictures a “fine art” feel, and look wonderful as a stand alone, in a wall cluster above your couch, going up your stairs, or in your dining room.

The wrap can be ordered to include your image on the sides, or have a black, or white boarder like this one.

5:45 AM seems ridiculously early for me, so I set my alarm for 5:48. I was out of bed, showered, geared up, bagged up, and in the car within 30 minutes. Eager doesn’t even to begin to describe how Rusty and I felt tackling this 16 hour event.

Many thanks to my husband, Rusty, for being my calm in the storm, and my second shooter.

Several months ago, my dear friend Tejal called me about shooting her cousin’s wedding. I was excited, to say the least. After many phone conversations, Sheela and Viral decided that I was their girl. I was walkin’ on air. I love that my job affords me the luxury of stepping into different people’s lives, and even into different cultures to document their journey, their joys and their tears. Sheela was just beautiful and Viral was the perfect gentleman.

Now: on to the visual delight that was Viral and Sheela’s wedding.
