Reception: Hemingway’s Island Grill Pensacola Beach, FL

It was so nice to be “home” last weekend. As walked on the sand in Pensacola, I had one of those contemplative moments where you look back at the last 10 years of your life. I remembered the places I’ve been, where I am now, and where I’m going. I took a moment to remember the friends that have come and gone, and the ones that still remain. I am a blessed woman. I have had the great pleasure of knowing some amazing people in my life. I’ve had several friends that have come along, at the right moment, and helped me. One of those friends is Deanie, who incidentally, is also a photographer. I met her in 2005 when she and her husband bought our first home from us. We hit it off beautifully and have had a blooming friendship ever since. When I first launched my business, Deanie was very helpful. I asked lots of questions, and she had the answers. We always laughingly said it would be fun to work together. After several years, we finally had the chance. Working with her was a blast. We met the would-be-challenges of the day with a smile…it turned out perfectly!

Many thanks to Steve and Liz for putting your day in our hands. I loved every second. What fun memories your day will always hold for me.

I have always loved the “veil in the wind” bridal portrait…sometimes it just doesn’t work out like we want it to- In the end, we got this sweet picture: Liz, you are stunning. This wedding party knew how to p.a.r.t.y! I completely enjoyed my evening with them.
