When Jessica discussed her engagement session with me, she mentioned that the property was beautiful, and that there was a pond with a boat. My stomach filled with butterflies! Upon seeing the size of the pond, I realized that I too had to be in a boat…with all of my gear, to get the images that I saw in my head. Thankfully, Rusty came along to help out. As hoped into a wobbly kayak, I entrusted him with my life….and more importantly, my gear.

It was a beautiful summer night that I won’t soon forget. The weather was perfect, the location delightful, and the love radiant. I almost expected the fish to come out of the water singing “Kiss the Girl.”

Congratulations to Joe and Jessica. We’ll see you in September.

“Experience is the name we give our mistakes.”

I dance everyday. In my car. In the kitchen. At my desk. I couldn’t make it through the day without at least a shoulder bump.

I love chocolate chip cookies, maybe more than I love the UPS man.

I sleep with 3 pillows. One behind my head, one under my head and the other between my knees. I’m serious about my pillows.

I love the fan on high when I sleep.

I have way too many pairs of blue jeans.

A random text message from a friend brings me immense joy.

I love to have fresh flowers in my house. I think it’s friendly and welcoming. Sometimes, I think they are looking at me….Alice in Wonderland.

Eating at a restaurant is my love language. That, and holding my hand while walking places.

I miss California, and my long hair, and working barefoot:

Happy Monday! This week is gonna rock!

I love to watch the groom’s reaction to seeing his bride for the first time. Blair did not disappoint. 🙂Congratulations to Chelsea and Blair!

Many thanks to my long time mentor, Michael Schwarz, for asking me to help him out with this wedding. It was a pleasure to shoot alongside you.
