RJ and Katie are both 4th grade teachers. Hats off. I have a 4th grader, and her math problems perplex me. I would totally lose on “Are you smarter than a 5th grader?” Emma-Kate bursts into monologues about Ferdinand Magellan and his grand adventures. How these two manage to wrangle rowdy 4th graders and put knowledge into their brains is beyond me. Seriously, hats off.

I am so thrilled to be photographing RJ and Katie’s wedding in June. They are laid back and fun…and looooook at that pooch. I’m trying to talk them into putting a doggy tux on that guy and letting him walk down the aisle. Oh Bruno, I wanna snuggle ya.

I have been very blessed to have wonderful brides come through my doors. Katie is no exception. As I was getting the blog ready, Emma-Kate came through my office and said, “Oh Momma, who is THAT pretty girl?” 🙂

You know I always save my favorite for last……

“A graduation ceremony is an event where the commencement speaker tells thousands of students dressed in identical caps and gowns that ‘individuality’ is the key to success.” -Robert Orben

I ran across that funny quote a few days a go and did a little chuckle out loud. Peake is without a doubt an individual. He told me about his plans, his goals and aspirations. He is solid…ready for what lies ahead. Keep that focus Peake – Congratulations!

I couldn’t decide which one of these I liked better….
