For most people in Atlanta, a rainy Saturday gives you complete permission to curl up on the couch and read a book. This particular Saturday it came a big rain. For a bride, rain is a big downer. Ashley was remarkable. I talked to her several times during the week leading up to the day, and we exchanged copious texts the day of. She was positive. I assured her that the day would go well, and that her photography would represent the amazing relationship that she and Jason have – rain or shine.
I watch people…it’s kinda what I do. I watched Ashley, and I watched Jason. They are both so much fun. In their separate circles, they make people laugh. Ashley has a way of genuinely making people feel special, and loved. Together, they glow. Ashley would light up when Jason stepped onto the dance floor. They are inspiring. Thank you so much, Ashley and Jason, for letting me retell the story of your wedding day.
I love when brides and grooms write letters to each other on their wedding day. It’s such a special gesture and something that you will have forever.
